Design

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is made of Titanium alloys, which make it both light and strong. The smartphone has an IP68 water resistance rating, which means it can withstand a 6-meter submersion for 15 minutes.

The iPhone measures 159.9 x 76.7 x 8.3 mm and weighs 221 grams, making it slightly heavier. The iPhone has Corning Gorilla Glass on the front and back to protect it from fingerprints and other hard marks.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch display. This is an OLED display panel with an LTPO Super Retina XDR resolution. The smartphone has an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The smartphone’s peak brightness is 2000 nits in outdoor heavy brightness mode, making it stand out among all other types of smartphones.

The display panel comes with  HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The display has a resolution of 1290 x 2796 pixels and a pixel density of 460 ppi. The display has an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 89.8%. 

Camera

The iPhone 15 Pro Max has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP (f/1.8, 24mm (wide), 1/1.28″, 1.22m, dual pixel PDAF, sensor-shift OIS) sensor + 12 MP (f/2.8, 120mm (periscope telephoto), 1.12m, dual pixel PDAF, 3D sensor-shift OIS, 5x optical zoom) sensor + 12 MP (f/2.2, 13mm, 120 (ultrawide), 1/2.

The smartphone can record in 4K resolution at 30/60 frames per second, making it somewhat priceless. Aside from that, all of the camera’s features are up to the flagship level.

The front camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 12 MP sensor with f/1.9, 23mm (wide), 1/3.6″, PDAF, and OIS. 

Processor

The Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max is powered by the Apple A17 Bionic chipset, which features a Hexa-core CPU (2×3.78 GHz + 4×2.11 GHz) and a 6-core Apple GPU. The processor and other chipsets are adequate for all types of performance and usage, including gaming.

Ram and Storage

The Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of NVMe storage. It currently does not offer any external storage options. There are also 512GB and 1TB storage versions available with 8GB of RAM, with no upgrade in RAM.

Connectivity:

The Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max is a 5G-supported smartphone, offering 22 5G bands for its Indian variant. It features Wi-Fi 6 (dual band) and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity options, both of which are the latest technology versions. It also supports NFC. For navigation, it includes GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and QZSS sensors. It has to be noted that this smartphone also supports NavIC for India. The iPhone 15 Pro Max supports dual SIM cards and comes with an e-SIM option.

Battery and Charging:

The battery in the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max is 4441mAh Li-Polymer. It supports wired fast charging, which allows it to be charged 50% in 30 minutes. It also supports 15W wireless charging (MagSafe) and 7.5W wireless charging (Qi). 

For the first time in the iPhone 15 series and this smartphone, the brand has announced the inclusion of a Type-C port for charging.  

It may not be as competitive in terms of battery backup and charging as some other Android smartphones that offer better battery life and charging options.
