Nokia is introducing its latest smartphone in the G series, the Nokia G42 5G. This device is designed to be budget-friendly and follows the release of the Nokia G60 5G, which is also constructed using recycled materials. The standout features of this smartphone include 5G connectivity, water resistance, the latest Android OS, Virtual RAM, and extended battery life, among others. The Nokia G42 5G boasts a lightweight plastic body, weighing 193.8g, and is equipped with an IP52 rating. The front side of the display is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3, adding to the smartphone’s appeal. The fingerprint sensor is conveniently integrated into the power button for enhanced security.
This smartphone sports a 6.56-inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution of 720×1612 pixels, offering 400 nits of brightness. Additionally, it features a 90Hz refresh rate display and is presented in a 20:9 aspect ratio.
On the camera front, the Nokia G42 5G is equipped with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro camera. The Nokia G42 5G is priced at Rs 20,000 in India. It will be available for purchase starting from September 2023 on Amazon and the official Nokia website. The device is offered in two color options: grey and purple.
