OnePlus, a leading smartphone manufacturer, has launched its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad, in India for pre-order on Amazon. The device uses a flagship processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, and offers several impressive features. Here’s what you need to know about this new product.

The OnePlus Pad boasts an LCD 11.61-inch display with a 2800 x 2000-pixel resolution (2k), 500 nits brightness, 296 PPI, and a refresh rate ranging from 30 to 144 Hz, with a 120 Hz/144 Hz touch sampling rate. The tablet also features an 88.14% screen-to-body ratio and a 7:5 aspect ratio, making it the first tablet of its kind. The display is also called the “Readfit” display, offering 10-bit color. the weight of the OnePlus Pad is 552g and the thickness is 6.5mm.

The tablet runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 CPU processor and ARM G710 MC10 GPU. It has LPDDR5 RAM with the option of 8GB or 12GB, and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device operates on OxygenOS 13.1, based on Android 13.
The OnePlus Pad’s 9000mAh battery provides up to 12.4 hours of video playback, and the standby time is 30 days. It also supports 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging, which can charge the tablet to 100% in just 60 minutes.
The device has a single 13MP rear camera that can record video up to 4K 30fps and supports EIS stabilization. The front camera is 8MP and can record 1080p video at 30fps, also supporting EIS stabilization.
In terms of connectivity, the OnePlus Pad has the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), 802.11a/b/g/n/WLAN 2.4G/WLAN 5.1G/WLAN 5.8G, and Bluetooth V5.3, BLE. It also supports TWS devices (SBC, AAC, aptx, aptX HD, LDAC) and has a Type-C port for charging. However, it lacks a 3.5mm jack.
Additional features include screen mirroring, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atoms, but the tablet does not have SIM connectivity.
