Design

The Vivo X90 Pro smartphone comes with a fluorite AG glass back and an aluminum alloy middle part. The weight of the Vivo X90 Pro smartphone is 214.85 grams which are quite heavy. Its dimensions are 164.07 × 74.53 × 9.34 mm.

The smartphone features an under-display fingerprint sensor. The rear “BIG EYE” camera module is round. and the front camera is provided with a punch hole that is slightly lower than the upper bezel of the display.

The smartphone houses curved display panels on both sides, which make it bezel-free from the left and right sides. The total thickness of the smartphone is 9.34 mm, which is impressive and makes it easier to hold the phone despite its higher weight.

The Vivo X90 Pro smartphone has a 6.78-inch Full AMOLED display with 452 PPI pixel density, screen resolutions of 2800*1260 (FHD+) pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness.

This display is capable of projecting 1.07 billion colors with 100% DCI-P3. This HDR 10+ capacitive multi-touch screen is protected by SCHOTT Xensation® α protection.

The smartphone display is designed to take care of your eyes in multiple aspects. On the chip level, it has “Smart eye protection mode,” “anti-fatigue brightness level” on the software level, and by hardware, it has “2160 Hz PWM”. all contribute to the meticulous design of the smart display for your eye comfort.

The smartphone includes an XDR engine, which optimizes color and brightness with a high dynamic range for the best display experience and visual pleasure. 

With the above display specifications, it can be said that the smartphone is a display beast, and the brand has not compromised in any way regarding the viewing experience for its users; everything has been taken care of, and this justifies the brand’s flagship standards. 

Processor

The processor of the Vivo X90 Pro smartphone has two cores for more support, which are the PRO imaging chip V2 coupled with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 5G Octa-Core processor. The CPU process has a 4nm frequency of 3.05 GHz*1 + 2.85 GHz*3 + 1.8 GHz*4, and the CPU architecture is 1*Cortex-X3 + 3*Cortex-A715 + 4*Cortex-A510.

The chipset provides 12% more single-core CPU performance and 10% more multiple-core CPU performance. It has the GPU model Immortalis-G715 with a frequency of 981 MHz; this GPU provides 32% enhanced performance.

This chipset contributes to an ANTUTU score of 1.22 million, which is adequate for a flagship phone. 

This chipset’s performance is quite high, but it could have been a little better due to the fact that rival brands have introduced better chipsets in the same range and category.

Ram and Storage

The Vivo X90 Pro smartphone comes in 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 ROM. 

The Vivo X90 Pro smartphone carries 3 GB of AI RAM to support the hardware and make tasks easier.

Camera

The Vivo X90 Pro smartphone has a  triple Rear camera setup of 50 MP OIS (IMX989) + 50 MP Portrait OIS (IMX758) + 12 MP Ultra-Wide (IMX663) . The aperture of the rear cameras are f/1.75 (50 MP) + f/1.6 (50 MP Portrait) + f/2.0 (12 MP Wide-Angle). 

The smartphone flaunts a 32 MP front camera with aperture of f/2.45.

The camera setup and the PRO imaging chip V2 provide 20% less noise and 15% better colour production in images. Rear flash present. 

The front camera is capable of recording videos at 720P/1080P at 30 fps or 60 fps.

Sound Feature

The Vivo X90 Pro smartphone has dual stereo speakers, which give a theatre experience. It works with two microphones for better calling and noise cancellation purposes.

Charging and Battery

There is a 4700 mAh (Equivalent 4870 mAh) battery inside the Vivo X90 Pro smartphone. It supports 120W  dual-cell fast charging.  The X90 is equipped with a Vivo standard charger (FlashCharge adapter 20V/6A) and supports up to 120W. 

The smartphone is capable of wireless charging also. Upto 50W peak power is reached when placed vertically on vivo charging base and steady state charging power is 30W. Reverse wireless charging supported. 

The actual charging power is dynamically adjusted as the scene changes and is subject to actual use. which takes 8 minutes to charge 50% of the battery with a Type-C charging port.
