Design

The Amazon Basics J68 TWS comes in an oval case made with polycarbonate. The dimensions of the TWS are 47 x 60 x 23 millimeters (T*W*Hmm). The TWS weighs just 36 grams, which makes it feel featherlight in your pocket and very comfortable to carry. 

The ergonomically designed earbuds are rated IPX5 for water and sweat resistance to improve their durability. The TWS comes with silicon ear tips, which are comfortable for the ears. The case comes with a charging indicator LED light, which is a thoughtful feature.  

The design of the TWS and case is pretty minimalistic, with not much touching. The solid pattern design looks attractive. The color options available are mentioned below.

The Amazon Basics J68 TWS has highly sensitive 10-diaphragm drivers producing clear, smooth music and voice. The bass from the TWS is pretty decent for a speaker in this range. 

Even with the lack of deep bass capability, you will be able to get a decent amount of bass, which can be enhanced with the help of an equalizer. 

The TWS features a dedicated in-built microphone in each earbud to give a clear voice call experience. The earbud has one such microphone placed at the tube to record and listen to your voice and later filter the moisture out.

Features

The Amazon Basics J68 TWS is controlled with smart touch controls in the earbuds. The touch controls are capable of performing actions like playing or pausing music or answering a call with one tap. Double tap to skip forward or backward, and adjust the volume with a triple tap. 

Connectivity

The Amazon Basics J68 TWS features Bluetooth version 5.3 for seamless, uninterrupted grooving of music and calls. It has an operating range of 10 meters.  The TWS is compatible with Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows devices. 

The TWS also have IWP technology that powers the earbuds and helps in one-step pairing as soon as they are taken out of the case. With this fast pairing, you don’t have to hassle with turning on or off earbuds and can immediately enjoy your music.

Battery and Charging

The Amazon Basics J68 TWS features an in-built lithium polymer battery of unknown capacity. The brand provides up to 40 hours of total playback time. No mention of separate battery backups of earbuds and cases is found.

The Amazon Basics J68 TWS features fast charging technology based on USB-C with which we can enjoy 60 minutes of playtime with 10 minutes of charge.  The total charging time is not mentioned by the brand.
