Design

The smartphone’s frame is crafted from metal and has glass front & back. The smartphones feature a large camera module, giving them a porthole design. 

The smartphone includes an IR blaster and a 3.5mm jack, both of which are very useful. The left side of the smartphone is empty, with only a volume and power button rocker on the right side of the display. 

iQOO 12 5G comes with dimensions of 163.2 × 75.9 × 8.1 mm and weighs 198.5 grams.  This is the slimmest flagship device with an 8.4 mm thickness.

Display

The iQOO 12 5G smartphone has a 6.78-inch screen. This is an LPTO AMOLED display with excellent color saturation and brightness. This display provides an immersive and engaging experience. 

The screen resolution is 1260*2800 pixels. This handset comes with a 144 Hz refresh rate,  453 ppi density, 1500 nits (HBM), and 3000 nits peak brightness. Which is ideal for outdoor use. 

This HDR10+ display can project up to 1.07 billion colors. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio. This display also has wet touch technology which enhances the overall user experience. It has ultra-narrow bezels, which improves the user’s view of the content. 

The iQOO 12 5G provides game frame interpolation which allows you to achieve game frame interpolation of 144FPS in games. Offering super-resolution in a game that allows you to achieve resolution at 900p level, 720p native.

The iQOO 12 5G smartphone is powered by newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors which are on 4nm TSMC process, with Antutu Score 2.1 MN+ which is a 30% increase in CPU performance and 25% increase in GPU performance. The processor has a clock speed of 3.3GHz. 

This processor is supported by the Adreno 750 GPU. It has LPDRR5X RAM & UFS 4.0 storage. This handset ensures a gaming powerhouse with a supercomputing chip Q1. That offers smoother graphics and capable gaming even during intense gaming sessions. 

The iQOO 12 5G is used for testing as India’s First smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It gives a 4D game vibrancy. 

Ram and Storage

The iQOO 12 5G smartphone has 12GB RAM, which is sufficient and fast for multitasking and gaming. The smartphone has 256GB of ROM storage, which is sufficient for a smartphone user who intends to use it for average multitasking and gaming.

The other variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB of ROM Storage which increases the gaming experience. 

Sound Feature

The iQOO 12 5G has three cameras: a 50 MP Astrpgraphy Camera 1/1.3 big sensor, a 64MP Periscope Telephoto camera with 3X optical and 100X digital zoom, and a 50MP Ultra Wide sensor. The Camera Setup includes the following camera modes:

Rear Camera Video Recording (Main Camera): 8K (at 30 fps), 4k(at 24/60 fps/30 fps),1080p (at 30/60/120 fps/ 240 fps), gyro-EIS. It features Dual-LEad Flash, HDR, and panorama.

Charging and Battery

The iQOO 12 5G is powered by a 5000 mAh pro-performance graphite battery. With this backup, you can use your smartphone for nearly a day without having to charge it frequently. 

The brand has provided a 120Watts wired Fast Charger that can charge our smartphone from 0 to 100% in approx 1 hour. To charge your smartphone, this charger accepts type-C charging cables.

The iQOO 12 5G smartphone is compatible with 5G broadband. It also supports dual 4G broadband, transforming it into a true 5G smartphone. Bluetooth 5.4 and WiFi connectivity technologies.
