Design

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is built with a strong and lightweight aluminum frame to keep the chassis intact. When opened, the smartphone has a plastic front and a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back that is known for its scratch and fingerprint resistance. 

When unfolded, the smartphone measures 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm and folds to 85.1 x 71.9 x 15.1 mm. The smartphone weighs 187 grams, placing it in the medium to light category of smartphones.

The IPX8 rating of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 protects it from submersion in water up to 1.5 meters deep for up to 30 minutes, which is an impressive feat in terms of survivability. 

When the smartphone is folded, it has a smaller display that is useful for notifications, alerts, and assessment. The bends’ hinges are strengthened to prevent breakage and give the smartphone a sturdy build.  

Display

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 features a 6.7-inch main display and a 3.4-inch cover display panel. The main display is AMOLED, while the cover display is of the SuperAMOLED variety. 

The main and cover displays have resolutions of 1080*2640 pixels and 720*748 pixels, respectively. With these resolutions, the main display and cover display have pixel densities of 425 PPI and 306 PPI, respectively. 

The smartphone’s main display is dual foldable, with HDR10+ and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The maximum display brightness of the Main screen is 1750 nits, which is more than adequate and allows you to use your smartphone even in bright sunlight. 

The smartphone’s cover display is protected by gorilla glass Victus 2. As a result, these smartphone displays are of the highest quality, allowing you to evaluate your phones beyond their screens.
